In 2018, after buying our first house together, we found ourselves searching for beautifully crafted, rustic furniture that didn’t cost the earth—both in price and environmental impact. When we couldn’t find what we were looking for, we decided to make it ourselves. James brought his joinery expertise, Sarah her eye for design, and together we built our first dining table in the evenings after work, right in our garage.

Word quickly spread as friends and family fell in love with the quality and warmth of our creations. What started as a passion project soon became a calling. By 2019, we’d outgrown the garage and taken a leap of faith into our first workshop, welcoming our first skilled crafter to join the journey.

Every piece we handcraft in Yorkshire uses FSC-certified timber and locally sourced steel, supporting family-run suppliers and reducing our environmental footprint.
