Our rustic, handmade alcove shelves are made using sustainably sourced timber which we finish using a blend of natural waxes that give water resistance. Each shelf comes complete with two black brackets and all the fixings that you will require.
The alcove brackets are 3mm thick each. We understand that custom measurements are required to fit alcoves. Please state in the notes, the length that you require and order to the nearest 10cm by rounding up. For example, if you need a shelf 93cm, please order it as 100cm and add into the notes that you need it 93cm.
We recommend taking 10mm off the width of your space to get the shelf length that you need - this allows for 6mm of brackets and space to get it in.

At The Crafty Couple, we believe in High Quality products at an affordable price - without harming the planet or cutting corners! That is why each of our "rustic" products are produced using 100% sustainably sourced Quebec Pine.
Why Quebec Pine?
Structurally stable - much more than typical Scandinavian pines. It has reduced amounts of movement once kilned dried. Ours is dried down to furniture manufacturing moisture content.
Carbon Negative Impact - due to low emission transport methods and reduced manufacturing process.
FSC Certified - The world’s most trusted sustainable forest management solution.
Each piece of wood is handpicked and full of character from both nature and the timber's manufacturing process. These will include: incredible grain patterns, knots, hairline cracks, saw marks and drying impressions.
