Product Colour Update:
Please note that as of the 8th November 2021 , we have adapted the way that we stain our products. At The Crafty Couple, we believe in High Quality products at an affordable price - without harming the planet or cutting corners! That is why each of our "rustic" products are produced using 100% sustainably sourced Quebec Pine.
Why Quebec Pine?
Structurally stable - much more than typical Scandinavian pines. It has reduced amounts of movement once kilned dried. Ours is dried down to furniture manufacturing moisture content.
Carbon Negative Impact - due to low emission transport methods and reduced manufacturing process.
FSC Certified - The world’s most trusted sustainable forest management solution.
Each piece of wood is handpicked and full of character from both nature and the timber's manufacturing process. These will include: incredible grain patterns, knots, hairline cracks, saw marks and drying impressions.
